I am wanting a hard cooler to fit under a seat in my 14' A22 and its gonna have to be pretty low profile. I would ideally like to find something that is short but long in length. I want something that is hidden on days when we have a lot of people on the boat. When its just a few of us I have a backpack cooler that fits under a seat but only holds like 4 gatorades or a 6 pack of anytrhing else. What are all of you doing for coolers other than the factory bag cooler? Any suggestions or recommendations on a short height/long length cooler or would i just be better to make something?

I have not seen a short long skinny cooler but I think it would be cool if they made a cooler with a lid that is padded vinyl top that matches the interior of the boat and is same height as seats.

dezul, that looks almost the same as the cooler that came with my A20. That's a good thing, btw. I really like it.

Ssshhh. Don't tell him if you add an Axis logo on it then it makes it just like the free cooler that comes with new Axises. Two of them under the seats should be plenty for a small outing.

The AO coolers are definitely better than the soft Axis cooler so that's a great replacement if needed and they hold ice better. As far as a low profile hard cooler I've yet to find one. Igloo makes a low profile stackable cooler but it's barely too big for under the A20 ans A22 seats but fits easily in the T22 ans A24.

If you are inkling to forego the "hard" part AO will make coolers to custom dimensions. I use the stow and go and it's crazy.....38 cans/bottles and close to an entire 20lb bag of ice. I can barely lift the damn thing when it's full.

Thinking about having them make one to the dimensions under the port long seat
