I am considering a T22 and a A22. Other than the style difference is there a big difference in the boats. Are the wakes about the same? Which is better to surf behind? Thanks

I am a total noob with these boats and went through the same tough decision you are faced with. I ultimately choose to order a new T22. I hear that it has a better surf wave than the A bit I'm sure you will hear lots of feed back on this thread soon enough. My ultimate decision came down to the extra room in the boat, styling, and the price was 4000 cheaper than a comparable A. So I was able to add some extras and have a better equipped boat for the same price. I love the boat but probably would have loved the A too.

The T22 has extra storage under the seats, nicer rub rail, and a couple of other small things that the A22 doesn't have. From what I have read, the T22's wake is close but not the same as the A22.

I have an A24 so storage isn't an issue anymore compared to my previous A22. If I had to choose, T22 all day and twice on Sunday. Much better surf wake than A22 and just a better boat inside plus more storage. I still like the A-series styling better though as far as looking unique compared to traditional looking boats.

Both are good boats can't go wrong with either one but the T22 a couple of advantages to me. Both my neighbor and myself have 2014s, he has a A22 I have a T22. Yes the surf wave on the T is slightly bigger not sure if it is even noticeable unless your at pro level. To me the main advantage to the T22 is it is higher in the water, you can turn and cross your wake without getting water over the bow or at least less water, it think it rides a little better as well. Not sure about the storage difference they seem comparable to me but the T has the flip back rest Chillax on the passenger side gets used constantly so I guess that makes it more comfortable at least for one passenger. But the T does have less room in the bow.

^^^ I've never taken water over the bow on my own wake in my A22 in the 3 years I had it. That would be driver error in my opinion

MC direct drive either showing off or driver error. Either way...just stupid.

I've owned 2 of the A22s and now have a T22. I love the wake and the extra storage under the seat. Especially since it will fit a real cooler instead of the bag! The boat also feels much bigger inside since the cockpit was moved 8 inches forward and the boat is 2" wider. Also, having a walkthrough helps with the room too. I love my T22.
