I have been noticing at the end of the day I can reach down to pull the center boat plug and there is a decent amount of water in there.

This past winter I added cement to all of my bag fittings, and my understanding is I have a drip less shaft seal (being a 13). It seems like too much to just be from wet people getting on the boat.

Anything else I can check? I've pulled the trans and motor covers while running and I cannot see any water coming from loose hoses or anything.

Thanks!

Where is this center boat plug that you are pulling? Are you pulling the boat out of the water and pulling the plug at the rear of the boat?

My sub floor is never completely dry. Is your bilge pump running during an outing or is it enough for your bilge pump to pick up, if not I wouldn't worry about it.

Mine always has a little water too. Water gets in mine through the cup holders on the back step by swim deck.

My 2012 A22 always has some water under the floor too, I was really looking for the source and I couldn't find it so I just put nylon tape around the threads on the ballast pumps and fittings. That eliminated most of the water but there is still some left. While I was looking around I noticed that the hard tanks in the back, when axis installed them they tightened the fittings on top too much and it cracked the threads on the tank and so they put so silicone on the threads but there is still some water leaking out. I'm surprised I didn't catch that when I was installing the ballast bags.

Your dealer obviously did not give you a good delivery inspection or orientation of your boat. That's basic info you should be informed about, especially when and if the dealer pulls that plug and doesn't replace it and then you take the boat out. There's a center "T" handle drain plug, so there's 2 drain plugs.

In both my 2011 A22 and my A24 my sub floor is dry.

Has anyone ever had any problems getting the "T" handle drain plug loose? My T handle seems to be hitting one of my ballast pumps when i turn it, so i have never been able to turn it. I always have to drain from the rear plug.

On another note i always have a little water in the boat after a day of riding.

It is very tight in the center sub floor compartment. Hard to even see the T-handle much less turn it. It tighter in my A24 then it was in my A22.

I've never removed the rear plug in mine, I always pull the one in the center, it's the lowest point on the hull, and I usually have a few inches of water in there from kids jumping and playing around

Thank you everyone....I've been considering a slip at our lake but the fact that a bit of water sits down there sort of grosses me out. I'm pretty anal about keeping it clean and working well and I have never seen stagnant water be a good thing...in any situation.
