I've held 3 wakeboats with 1 small box anchor in 8-10mph winds. It all depends on how you scope the anchor line 2:1 is minimum but it'll hold more with 3:1.

We went through a couple different styles of anchors by doing it the "cheaper" way first, with not very good results. Finally ponied up the coin for the box anchor and couldn't be happier. Over the last couple of years, we'd tie up our old Enzo, a party barge, and other ski boats and wouldn't move or have to reset the anchor at all. Well worth the extra money to do it right the first time.

We have been selling these anchors for the last few years and have had ZERO complaints. We have customers going from the Delta to lakes to the Sac river and the anchor holds them everywhere.

Great product, nearly every new boat we sale one of these is added on.

Has anyone used the baby size? I'm thinking of getting both that size and the small, but the small seems like overkill for most of our anchoring needs.

The baby box will hold a wakeboat easily in less than 10mph wind or light current.

I almost bought the baby one and was quite confident it would hold but I would rather have over kill then just enough ..... we have some pretty rough winds at times
