I'm mounting and hooking up my WS420 equilizer tonight. Just wondering how you all mounted yours. Pictures would be helpful. Thanks for all the help.

Cut a hole in the area underneath the reciever. Cut the plastic more than the vinyl wrap so I could push the vinyl back in. Worked okay, I'm not as happy with it as I had hoped. It gets bumped a lot which switches it from main to aux. Will try to get pics in a few days.

I mounted the exile ZLD under the throttle in the storage tray area. Pull the panel mount a block on the fiberglass mount the eq. Cut a bit of the storage area to fit and reinstall.

Thanks for the replys so far. I looked at it last night and I really want to mount it right under the stereo on the dash. But my question is what kind of bracket did you guys use to mount it under there. There isn't much to support it under the dash. Thanks for all of your help on this!! Hopefully I will get it all hooked up tonight!!!

Honestly, mine is tight enough where it just stays. I'm still sorting out a lot of my install, it has been one of way too many projects this Summer. The plan is to run brackets off of the head unit (mine is a Clarion M502) and down, and bolt to it. But I have to say, if I could do it over, again, I'd put it where either Huddy or Chad have theirs. The knobs and switches routinely get bumped when getting into and out of the seat. On the right side, it is easy enough to adjust the boat/tower volume levels when necessary, but stays out of the way so the stuff you want to set and forget isn't screwed up all of the time.

What year is your boat? The dash changed in 2013. Mine is located on the right side of the steering wheel.

I'll take a better picture of the mounting bracket tonight.
