Okay.
11:00 AM Riya - (C5F4):
Could you please let me know the ios version of the iphone 5s?
11:01 AM Customer:
iOS 7.1.1
11:02 AM Riya - (C5F4):
I'm sorry to inform you that, the unit doesn't support ios 7 version.
11:02 AM Customer:
go figure ... I don't understand how Sony can find that to be acceptable
11:03 AM Riya - (C5F4):
Currently, we cannot say if Sony will be release updates to make the items compatible with iOS 7.
11:04 AM Customer:
iOS has been out for many months and iOS 8 is set to be released this year... so they're not doing a very good job of keeping up... completely unacceptable in my opinion. I understand that this isn't your fault, but I must pass along this information to you

Guess I'll hang on to iOS 7.0.4 because my iPhone 5S works just fine with A24

I don't blame you. Shitty solution though.

You're missing important security updates.

cheap usb to bluetooth adapter ... this should work. The only issue I see is that it has a 120v adapter but could easily be replaced with a 12v

Id be surprised if that POS sony would even support that thing. I'm seeing a lot of complaints online of incompatible thumb drives.

I have 7.1.1 on a 4s and it still works fine for me on my 2010, but it has acted goofy in the past with older iPhones
