Do you guys use the bow pole? If so, do you put something under it or put it directly on the vinyl?

Does anyone use the cord to the tower instead of the 2 rear poles?

My A22 has front and rear poles. I use neither of them but I do use the string that pulls the cover up in the middle.

Just took delivery of our 14 A22. I have the boat sitting the driveway right now with the hang tite being used. I also have the rear pole to help with the tension on the cover. The front pole i have sitting on a frisbee to spread the weight out a bit with no sharp edges. We had a big rain storm the other day and all seemed to work extremely well!

Hope this helps

Kirk

It is basically a ratcheting rope in the center of the boat cover that you attach to your tower and pull the cover up to give it a slope to help with water runoff.

I have opted to use no poles. The cover fits very tight, and the hang tight keeps it up in the center. Its a lot easier to get it on and off without dealing with the poles. Down the road if the cover streches I will use the poles, but its nice not needing them. I have never seen the hang tight system before. Its awesome.

We use our hangtite, on the water and stationary on the trailer, but never travelling, and it works a treat
