How much and will it affect the wake?

If you buy it outright from Larry's website you are looking at about $550 shipped. If we can get a gb on it, I am sure we can get that number down at least 10%.

As far as the wake goes, the only experience I have with it is from my Centurion. It caused a little extra splash in the prop wash and that was about it. The most amazing part about it was the engine noise reduction. You can have a conversation in the boat at normal level while pulling a rider. A lot of times I would just turn the tower speakers up and then drive the boat and talk to my passengers in a normal voice. It will also help the rider hear the music better instead of that big 350 engine rumbling. Some guy on TMC said it lowered his RPMs. I am doubting that claim. Your RPMs shouldn't be affected. I am still curious about the surf wake with it though. Maybe someone that has one can chime in.

I don't have any personal experience here, but what I have always heard matches what Dezul said - little to no effect on the wake, significant noise reduction, and most importantly, significant CO reduction for the people in or behind the boat.

If anyone has any doubt about this, contact me. I am just a happy customer and I firmly believe this is the third major upgrade to a boat. First being ballast and prop. I will get one reguardless by June. Help me make it cheaper for all of us.

OK... Couple of questions.

Have read that this is one of the best upgrades that someone did.

What are all of the benefits....?

1. Have heard that is makes the in-boat noise quieter as well as making the boat engine (noise) exhaust quieter...? Please feel free to chime in on this one and let me know everyones experience with this. I for one love the way my boat sounds, especially when I am on the dock and hear it pulling away from me. Sounds like a beast and I love the sound. I also haven't really had a problem with in boat noise as it really hasn't been a problem especially with the Sound Pack 3 as we usually have it up pretty loud.

2. Carbon Monoxide poisoning from exhaust for people surfing. Is this really a problem...? I really don't know and want feedback on this. It seems that with all of the air around and the fact that you are moving that it really wouldn't be a problem. I can see a problem if you are sitting on the platform with engine running, but when surfing is it really a problem or just an aftermarket add on that really may not be necessary.

Are there any other benefits that I may be overlooking?
Thanks for the feedback.

May be upgrading my prop before I do anything else.

Bump on my previous thread.
Dezul.... Please give me any input you have on the above. Feel free to PM if you want too. I just want to make sure if this is something I want to do or not.
Thanks so much.
