I tend to do things under the dash and I am just a little too chunky to squeeze between the seat and the wraparound seating. Is it removable?

Should be a little black cover with 6 screws on the front of the base. Take that off and then a 9/16 to the 4 nuts underneath there. Careful not to drop a nut or the fender washer. Once all 4 are off lift seat straight up and then be stupid careful as the studs will be sticking straight out the bottom. 10 mins tops.

I was looking for a quick release. That sounds like entirely too much work. I may in the future look at raising my seat about 4 inches so I will keep this in mind.

Good info, I may do this soon. Unfortunately got a small vinyl tear on the backside of the captains seat, it isn't very big but I know it's there and it's very annoying. I'm thinking my best bet is to remove the seat and take it to an upholstery shop to have the back section re-skinned.

The remivable floor doesn't help as much as you might think. It gives access to little more than the fuel tank. All the pumps and valves and drain plug up front are accessed through the small round access you can see by the observer seat.

you can access the front pumps a little easier with the floor removed ..... I just slid it back a little bit so I could get both arms under there and then used the floor as support so I wasn't laying on the gas tank
