Why is knoxville's water temp so much warmer than all of you guys in the same area?

Definitely! I'm in Cottage Grove (15min south of St Paul) I have never been on forest lake we usually are up at our family cabin lake and when we are local we usually go to lake Elmo or the St Croix. This is our first boat, I have only been wakeboarding behind a bayliner once and behind our jetski. But my wife and have been snowboarding for years and are hoping to learn fast. I am definitely in over my head but that is nothing new for me.

I rode today for the first time this year without any sort of wetsuit. The cable lake was 72 degrees! It was so nice. I would still wear a spring suit in the delta and lakes though since they are colder.

We will be out this weekend in Bama. Close to 80 degrees. Will update on water temps.

Air temp 82° Water temp 67° at Lake Martin,AL today.

Water temp was around 60 today in Northwest Arkansas. 24mph wind speeds unfortunately.. We got some good surfing in at least. Way too choppy for any decent wakeboard sessions. Feels so great to be back out on the water!!

WINDY.... today. But we rode.
Air temp around 80.
Water was different between deep end of lake and shallow end.
Ranged from 65-70.

It's the last real chance we get here in Australia before winter hits, so we have an 8 day break planned to hit it hard.

Rode last night real quick. Wind died down here in Raleigh around sunset. Water temp was upper 60s. Rocked the 3/2 and stayed nice and warm.

Now looking like cooler temps through this week with a chance of rain on Saturday. Bummer.

The forecast usually changes by Wednesday for the upcoming weekend. Lets hope it changes for the better.
