So I got my plug and play bags in today for my 2013 a20, and looking at all the parts I am a little confused, and I dont have the boat here to refrence anything. I know the rear lockers have 3 lines, 2 drains and a fill, and the front bag as 3 lines, fill drain vent. I got the quick connect fittings to go with the bag, but I guess I didnt look closely enough as it only comes with 6 of the w743 threadded parts that screw into the bags. Will I not be able to install all the bags tomorrow without 3 additional w743 parts? How do the bags hook up to the lines if I wasnt to use the quick connects?

Thanks in advance for all the help!

fly high....I actually ordered sumo, but the guys at boardstop said they were having lots of problem with them and just sent all their stock back, something about the lines not staying connected to the bags....

Yep. I'm having that problem but I hear sumo will have it fixed by the end of the year and is warrantying them. I like them other than that.

Is the warranty being covered by Axis or StraightLine?

Straightline. But I hear whoever you bought them from can help you also.

I spoke with StraightLine and this is what they're doing to fix problem bags.

Quote:
2/11/14

Note to Sumo Sac Customer,

We are aware that some Sumo Sac™ ballast bags have been distributed with valves that leak. A few of the 1" NPT valves were made with softer plastic which allowed the opening to stretch and leak when the bag was filled to maximum capacity.
In order to get you back on the water as soon as possible, we will provide a stainless steel ring that attaches around the valve to stop any leakage. These will be provided free of charge to Sumo Sac customers and will be sold as a remedy to customers with bags from other manufacturers who are experiencing the same issue.
New Sumo Sacs™ with the corrected valve have been distributed with the “Sumo” logo on the cap for easy identification.

Regards,
Straight Line Design Team

The rings are not yet available. I checked with Sumo yesterday. SL is sending us some at Boardstop as soon as they have them available. If you bought bags from us last season we should be able to get you taken care of. Glad they came up with a fix for the problem...now to wait and see once the rings are installed how they hold up.
