What would you guys recommend for a 2010 A22 with 250 hours? I'm thinking a synthetic but whose and what weight do you guys like?

I use Amsoil but it's all just whatever you prefer, they are all pretty good products nowadays

Not sure what it was ran in it. So 5w40 is the weight? Not 15w like the conventional oil Indmar recommends.

5-40 is just a lighter blend diesel oil that's been around for lighter duty engines, you can run either one and not have any issues

+1 for Rotella 15w40
your owners manual should call for Penzoil 15w40 but you cant find that stuff anywhere.
I have ran Rotella in all my inboards and never had an issue.

Use basic no-brand 15-40W. Mineral oil. Do not put posh synthetic in, you'll see no benefit and gain a noisier engine.
The key is to use basic oil, but change regularly. Every 50 hours if you feel the need. That is money much better spent that on fancy oil.
