The 6 liter is what I was thinking. We are at 1600' above sea level and I found some calculators online for the HP drop and it's like 17Hp for the monsoon 350 and almost 20 for the 409. I think I'm going to do it. I was already going to get the 350 and dealer cost on the 409 is 4k. Just not sure how much fuel it will burn compared to the other smaller motors. I was talking with a guy a while back who had a mastercraft x2 with the 400 hp motor in it and he claimed that it burned the same amount of fuel as the 350 hp motor from mastercraft. he said that he saved fuel by having the power to get the boat on plane quicker thus saving the WOT of trying to plane out with a smaller motor.

I picked up a brand new 2013 A22 two months ago with Sound pack 2, heaters and a bunch of other options. I paid 56k and that included tax title and registration.

We all need to stand firm on our used boat prices. dont let the market tell us what its worth, we tell the market what its worth!

When surf gate came out in 2013 for Malibu there was an abundance of 2011's and 2012's being sold and traded in for the new technology. Same is happening with Axis...but on a smaller scale
