I know this doesn't really have to do with the ballast bags on a 14 but instead of starting a new thread about ballast or bumping one from a while ago I'll ask here.
I noticed on the wedge on my boat that there are two bolts that keep the wedge from dropping all the way. If you take the two bolts out there is another set of holes that it could lock into. Would the wedge being all the way down make a better wake that if it was free floating?
Another question is I recently got bags for the boat and for wakeboarding I can just let water out of the back to even up the front but for surfing what would be the cheapest way to add about 3-400 lbs. in the bow? I want to be able to move it to the back of the boat while not surfing though just to keep the nose a little higher.
Which year do you have? I will answer the bag question first. Do you have the arrow bag installed for the PnP? If so, it is easier to lighten the front by letting water out of the front arrow sac instead of pumping out the rear. Most people suggest keeping the weight close to equally balanced in the front and back. What is your current setup? It would help for us to determine best possible solution.
