That's a ton of weight.

Running at sea level would be nice

Keep in mind that is also depending on the sacs holding the weight they say they do.

I would think with all that weight, wedge, and surfgate that it is not the 330hp motor in that A22. If it is...then damn.

I can get on plane with all that weight no wedge with my 330.

If you add wedge and we are surfing no problem either.

Our lakes run anywhere from 3000' to 6000' above sea level. My dealer had a shop A22 w/ the 330 and a acme 2079 or 2315. his weight setup was full stock, pnp 750s in the rear and 950 in the bow with another 750 on top of the bow. No wedge. Usually had 4 to 6 people in the boat. He said anymore people than that and 2 to 3 have to sit up front to plane. I think we are going to run the 2079 on our A22

Yeah, wedge kills planing heavy with the 330 but that bow weight is key on the Axis. Surfing speeds should be fine even with wedge...but how are the RPMs?
