So I'm finalizing the purchase of an A22 Monday and my plan is to drive out to Lubbock Tx next weekend and tow it home to Chicago.
Is this a stupid idea? What if its really cold like single digits will this cause damage to anything? It has been dealer winterized.
What about road salt spray? Will this cause problems down the road?
Any thoughts on this idea are appreciated.
Thanks

have you looked into getting it shipped? I know we have shipped a number of boats from the dealership that we are at. I would check on shipping costs and then add all the cleanup, drive time, your time, gas etc and just see if that trip would be worth it.

Ship it. Cheaper and you don't have to worry about the roads or salt. My cousin towed his tige from Idaho to Wisconsin last march and he is now having issues with the trailer rusting.
