Axis Wakeboard Boat Forum

Hey everyone, I just wanted to drop a quick line to formally introduce myself. I've been a Malibu guy for the past 5 years and after getting a chance to demo the new A24 this past summer I made the switch to Axis. My 2014 A24 will be arriving in another week and will also be on display at the Seattle Boat show. I live in North Seattle and keep my boat in the water in the Kenmore area, so if you're local please don't hesitate to flag me down so I can give you a pull or at least a cold beverage. I will also be using my boat to tow the Washington state INT wakeboard and surfing events for the 2014 season.

Once I get it back from the boat show I will be proceeding with a full Samson tower install with 4 of their new 9" surf speakers, a harpoon amp, and some new board racks they are coming out with. For the interior, I will be installing 8 exile in-boat speakers, an amp, and an exile subwoofer to fill out the bass line.

Should be an exciting summer to say the least!

I am guessing you will be going with the Fly High fat sacs? Use boardstop.com to pick up the sacs for it. They will hook you up. Plus they are a site sponsor.

Hey guys! Thanks for the positive feedback. I went with the 450hp Marine Power LS3 engine. I generally run a lot of weight so the extra power comes in handy.

I plan on using Fly High fat sacks for ballast but am still debating on exactly which ones. I will likely plumb in 1100s in the rear, see if I can squeeze another 1100 into the aisle way, and then put a 1000lb bow sack in the bow. Even then I will probably want more weight in the cabin, but I'm not quite sure how I will do it yet. When I demo'd the A24 this summer we really sacked it out, but I prefer not to have ballast sacks sitting all over the cabin so we will have to see what I can figure out!

Sweet mother of pearl that's a lot of weight. I would love to ride with that kinda weight!!!
