I finally had a ported box built in place of that worthless plastic fascia they call a box, all i can say is its worth every single dime. i went ahead and upgraded to a type R alpine instead of the factory type s it comes with. It slams like you wouldnt believe. it literally shakes the water around the boat... i had no idea it wouldve made that much of a difference! Also on thing i hated about that plastic peice is that the steering wheel shakes so violently when you have the bass up. All that is gone and i have clear accurate bass now, its flippin sweet. It was a custom built box, my builder bitched a whole lot about it because it involved alot of shaving and had some fitment issues but he did a great job. its resin'd and rhino lined, completely water proof! i would show you guys a pic but my work comp doesnt allow photobucket apparently. i'll get one out soon enough.

curious as to what everyone is running amp wise on their wetsounds tower setups? I have a pair of rev 10's right now and i'll be getting a 410 before spring. I know some wont agree but I dont have anything for wetsounds other than their tower speakers. I also think the rms rating for the tower speakers is exaggerated a lil bit. right now i'm considering the JL M-series amps, likely a 600/1 for the sub a 600/6 bridged for the three tower speakers and a 600/6 for the interior speakers, which are factory alpines for now. all the amps are the same size so they'll install nice and neatly, and i think it will accurately and efficiently power everything for me. what ya'll think?

On my last boat- I ran my wetsounds 3-some off an alpine 600 and it was very loud and sounded great. You should be fine.

I think you're right. I have two rev 10's on the factory 4 channel bridged and it's all they can handle.

I had my builder utilize the bottom section of the original plastic fascia piece, going to have the carpet cut down and a snap installed as the original. Very happy with the new box. I don't have any pictures with the sub installed on my phone but you get the idea

I like the dual port design. Good job.
