Ok, what skim style surfboard are you riding (length of the board if you know) and what is your weight. I'm just trying see what skim style boards people are using that the Axis wake can push with no issues. Although I have a 2011 A22, I have the new style platform so I get a clean wave. Im looking towards Phase 5 boards. I'm 6'00" and a huge 165lbs. Thanks everyone.

I am a big fan of Phase 5 boards. The Danielo Diamond is a great board at 54" if you want an upper end board and are more experienced. However, you can always put a 2" fin on it to help track better as you progress in skill. My other favorite for the standard rider is the Razz. It all depends on your ride style and experience but you can't go wrong with either

I hear good stuff about Phase 5. Every year at Expo I tell myself that we are going to bring them in and then I never get around to doing it. The next brand I would add is Phase5. Maybe you should find out which one you want and force me to bring them in. Win for us both.

I just received a skim bender back from a customer AJ. Small ding on the board. You might want to demo that board and see if you like it.

Another vote for the Phase5 Danielo although this board is last years pintail 54". This was behind a T22 we are still dialing in.

Victoria Skimboards are another brand to look at. Depending on your skill level/price range going from the Agent to the Factor and finishing with the Factor PCX.
