We pretty much all try to prop our boats to suit our needs which usually means more holeshot loaded. I wonder has anyone tried to prop their Axis or 'Bu for more top speed to see what the boat can do. I'd be down for that experiment since I run mine 38-42mph often.

Yeah AJ, I would be real interested to see what you guys could get. When i had the Cinco and 600 lbs of lead, I got up to 43 mph… I am sure with an almost empty gas tank and no lead I could have hit 44 or 45. Let me know what you come up with.

I get 43-44mph with 1-2 passengers, 3/4 tank, empty ballast on the OJ 5-blade.

Two adults half tank of gas.

That's what mine would do with the 1235 as well around 43 mph
