i have a new 2013 a20 and i love it, but i have one complaint. the storage compartment right behind the drivers set always fills with water and it doesn't drain into the bilge for some reason. anyone else have this problem and have found a solution for it?

I have an A22 of hone same year, but are you talking about the area beneath the seat cover? I have been noticing that any water, spilled drinks, etc all end up under there....but I've never had more than a little bit to wipe up with a towel.

How much water are we talking about? I can't think of a reason for water to be getting under there unless you have it leaking out the front of the rear pnp bag or something, and even then I think the areas are separated (can't check at the moment)

The a20 is different Ron, it doesn't have an AXray panel behind the driver, it's sealed like the corner seats but I still don't have a clue why water wouldn't drain from there, some 20' owners will chime in here soon

I have a '13 A20 and never noticed any water in that compartment. I keep a couple of extra fat sacs in there so am in and out of it every time we ride. I agree with Ron, check and see if it's coming from the rear PnP bag.

i don't have any pnp bags, just stock ballast tanks. i noticed it when it was raining and i didn't have the cover on. pulled over 10 gals of water out. i thought i had all of the water out, but it rained a couple of times last week and when i pulled the cover off there was a gallon or two in it. i pulled the plastic panels and looked with a flashlight and there just isn't and place where it drains into the bilge, so any water that gets into it has to be manually bailed out.

Got it....didn't realize we knew where the water was coming from (rain).....as far as draining, hopefully someone will chime in but I would drop in a 3/4" hole with a grommet near the rear of the boat to drain into he hull.....my previous boat had the same setup with a single drain hull as it acted as the under seat ice chest.

Yep, I'd make some kind of drain hole, hell if it's sealed get a rubber twist in drain plug and use that area for an ice chest.

I have a 2013 A20, never had any water fill that area. This past summer was a wet one on Lake Lanier, we were caught in a few rain storms on the lake still never had any water collected in the storage area.
