Well when it rains it pours, Last week I had a small fender bender in my truck, I did a u-turn and hit a guy in a nissan, all my fault. Had to replace the front bumper and plastic, was going in tuesday to have the fender put on and repaint the front end but I needed to take the boat in to have the prop shaft seal repacked and tightened. So I get up at 6 this morning, drive for 2.5 hours to get to the dealer, drop the boat off and leave to go eat while that is being done. Almost make it to Outback and I get creamed from the rear by a girl in an Equinox. Thank god the boat was not there. Bent the whole bumper and receiver hitch down pretty bad. She never slowed down a bit, didn't have a seatbelt on and her airbags did not deploy. Poor girl smashed her face on the steering wheel and was bleeding from her lip, nobody gets injured so I'm cool it's just a little bent metal on my ride. Get to a gas station and get the bumper bent back up just enough to put the ball on it. Pick up the boat and get to the water by 3pm. We cruise around for a bit and I jump in my buddy's A20 and slightly sprained my right ankle wakeboarding. We decide to go chill at the party cove and sit on the beach. I have never tied my boat to anything or let it touch anything but the trailer. My buddy pulls his new A20 up and parks it on the sand bank with 30 other boats, Why not, I do it too, never again. I find the only rock on the beach. When I leave there is a gash in the gelcoat and some light scratches on the side. DAMMIT!!!!!!! Ok it's 8:30 i'm done lets go home. Start coming home and 60 miles down the road I smack a deer with the front tire and fender, spin it around and his ass smashes the rear door of my truck, luckily the door pushed him away from the boat! Someone put a damn hex on me or something I'm walking for the rest of the summer!!!!!!!!
so how was everyone else's weekend so far? 1 more day til it's all over

Damn! That's a horrible day- Last Tuesday I crunched my bumper backing into one of those 2ft high steel poles in the cement out in front of a bank.
You going to do the repair yourself on the boat?
Matt

Damn that is one heck of a bad day! I took my driver's side door down the tongue of a boat trailer putting the boat in storage earlier this summer. 2 18 inch long scratches down to the sheet metal on my driver's door. Left a note on the boat. Talked to the owners a couple days later and they just laughed and said we didn't even know which scratch it was on the tongue. So in the end it all worked out and cost me $500 to fix my door. Lesson learned though take the boat home!

Lol, I wish that was all that had happened to me in July, three weeks later a friend and I went to the cable park in granbury tx. and on the way there we spun out in a wet patch of asphalt at 55mph, went backwards through a ditch barely missed a telephone pole, spun sideways and skidded to a stop taking out 100 foot of barbed wire fence. We were both just hanging on for the ride at that point, very glad we didn't roll the truck, it was an 07 Harley edition f-250, luckily the guy behind us had some cutters so we could get out of the fence, the running board absorbed most of the damage so we went on to the cables and still made a day out of it. We got redemption by making a trip to lake Austin with his 23' tige and his sisters f150 and not one mishap, problem or injury all weekend!!!
