Don't know if this works or not but here is a quick vid of my attempt at the poor gate... took about 20min build time and headed straight to the lake... Thank you so much Joey.

this is 900lb sumo bags about 3/4 full in the back with front mostly full and center full... no wedge. I will try more later.

Any risk of breaking anything? Like too much pressure on the platform/bracket? Or hull/transom?

I know right Walter... this has to be the single most awesome thing I have ever seen done with 3 small chunks of scrap :D

SBC350 there is no excess force at all. super safe to try out... and if you don't like it, just remove the clamps :)

P.S. I have a 2011 and am getting a 2012 swim platform very shortly (On order)

That look awesome! As I added more weight more water came over the paddle and the wave was not as clean. Im very interested to see what impact the 2012 swimplatform has. If you dont mind me asking, what did the dealer charge you for it?
