That looks mighty clean. maybe the cleanest 2009-11 platform surf wave I have seen. Ill be currious how well it scales up to move weight. You may know this already, but a larger surfgate (lenght or angle) does not equal a bigger wave. You find that you want a gate small enough that the water/wave still stacks up behind the boat and gate just large enough that all the white stuff rolls off to the non-surf side.

That's freakin cool! Thanks for sharing, you know if you didn't want to mount it you could rig up some kind of hook to attach to the swim deck bracket and then another hook in the tie down eyelet to keep it from sliding backwards, that way just hook it on and go, then when done just pull it off and toss it in the ski locker

Joey, can you share the other dimensions? Particularly the front and back widths - I'm going to build one later and my math skills are a little impaired. Cheers!

Let me know how ur build goes and if u come up with any improvements along the way. I like Walters idea of somehow connecting it to the tie down loop and swim deck bracket.

Oh and the other thing I'll probably change is where I attached the "tab" to the "mount". I attached it on the lower side of the tab not knowing how deep it'd need to sit in the water. I plan to raise the attachment point up a bit to sit more directly in the middle of the backside of the tab. Where it attaches now there are a few inches that sit above the water.

How does it steer when turning around to pick up a rider? Also do you have the newer surf platform? If so wouldn't your angle off the rear be less than 22 degrees because the platform angles in a little bit?

I have the older platform so it mirrors the angle of the hull.
