Got caught in a huge rain storm yesterday, boat got completely soaked inside.
The sound system's Kicker eq got wet, now I get little if any bass exept when I turn the radio down to zero and it goes "boom" or when I when changing tracks.By boom i mean a power surge (one loud as hell bass thump) through the whole system tower, sub and cabin speakers.
The Tower speakers and cabin speakers sound fine with mabe a little feedback but the sub is clearly only putting out a little bass as music plays.
I have the stock Sony marine deck so I dont think that is the problem.
I think ive gone deaf as ive been under the dash messing with wires to see if I can 'dry' anything out. has anybody got any suggestions? Should I just leave it off for a few days and see if it fixes itself?
