Just added the standard plug and play (with wedge) not happy with the standard prop. I have A20 with 335 hp. Been researching different props, and just like to get everyone's opinion on what they are running what they like or would do different. The props I am looking at are The Acme 1235, Acme 1615, and wondering if anyone is running the Acme 2079. I don't care if the boat ever gets over 30 mph just want good hull shot.

I talked to someone that just installed his plug and play and is happy with his 1235. I have talked to bill at Acme about the 1615 and he really did not sound like that prop was going to be much difference.

if anyone has run a 1235, 1615 and 2079 I'd like to know what you think about each of the props.

yester day we had 10 people in the boat or so. granted i didnt put any ballast in because of all the weight already on the boat with the people. but i was still able to pull 2 people on a tube. and of course wake and kneeboard as well. and the hole shot was still good with the high alt prop. Does anyone know which prop the high alt is?

i should got a picture but the wave and wakes were pretty mean looking depending how i asked poeple to sit. we had 3 in the bow and everyone else in the main lounge.

normally the boat dealers call the 1235 the high alt prop.

What altitude are you at? The ACME 1615-112M is a great prop but your top speed is 34, at 22mph the rpm is around 3400-3500 give or take, for slalom I ride at 29mph which is about 4300-4500, which is ok but I don't like to rev it that high very much which is why I don't slalom very much, but for all around surfing, wakeboarding or tubing it's a great prop if you don't want to haul butt and just cruise

I agree with Walter as I have the 1235 prop...its great but you do have to rev it quite high with a few people in the boat to get those upper speeds. Although I'm running a bit lower on the rpm to get those speeds...like 3500-4000 for 30-32 mph.

Hey stros if you want to meet me at Amistad this weekend you can try out my 1235 prop and see how you like it, it's the original high altitude prop that I swapped out for more low end power, I'm usually around 3000 feet, the 1235 wouldn't plane with full ballast and 4 big guys in the boat wedge down, so I went with the 1615-112m, it has a more aggressive pitch than the standard 1615

I have the 1615-112m as well with the 335hp motor. I have the 1100's in the rear and the front pp sack. I have had 13 adults in it while loaded completely and it still comes out of the whole good. With full ballast and 5 or 6 people it pops out extremely well.Its the only prop i will run on my boats now.
