Love my buddies IS Squirt, but don't want to spend the extra $250, or have two of the same boards in the group. Any opinions between these two? I'm 5-10, 170lbs prefer skim style. Not good enough yet for shuvits or airs. Want to keep this board a few years, and think wife will eventually be able to ride them also. She's currently on a fish-almost rope less.

The hazard is a great board for learning on.

I can't comment on the Tako but I do have an IS Squirt and a Hazard. The IS is a very fast board,as you know. The Hazard is a little slower but rides pretty similar. I used to have an older LSV that put out a medium sized wave and rode the Squirt 90% of the time. With my T22 the wave is too much for the Squirt and I'm on the brakes way too much. The Hazard is perfect for me with the T22. I'm 5'11 185#.
