So I want to get the stainless covers painted on the T23 they look unfinished next to the chrome cleats and think they would look nice a solid color. Can anyone give me any guidance on how to get them off.

Mine are held on with Phillips head screws, are the newer ones studded with nuts inside tge engine hatch?

Mine are too after finally trying to pick my boat up last weekend from the dealer. I just didnt remember seeing screws in them.
