Surprisingly no. Still only indicating that its back there is a slight reluctance to turn at slow speeds in the opposite direction --Wife didnt notice.

What dimensions is your now?

Loving my DIY surfgate. Ordered some 3/4" and 1" thick sheets of high density polyethylene (HDPE) to mimic the wood prototype. I'll hopefully get it put together next wk. A pic from today w my 2 yr old loving the "gate" too...

I built a surfgate as well from the first description since my platform is the original one. Pretty happy with the results. They are hanging right now and the rubber sealant is drying. Hoping maybe to catch a sesh again tonight. You can get really far back and the push is awesome. Going to slow it down even a little more. this was at 10.8 on port side and 11.2 on starboard side. Starboard was late night and testing just to see and we should have slowed it down. Also going to add another 350-400 in the front.
