After riding today on the way back in I was running around 32mph and I smell something burning so I stop and some smoke is coming from the engine bay. I open it up and the starboard side exhaust manifold is melting! While idling it is fine and cruising it seemed to stay at normal temperature. When I opened it up I could see water coming from around the exhaust manifold and the rubber coupling it connects to. The engine is fine and the oil is not milky at all so wtf is going on? Here are some pics of the starboard side compared to port side. Possibly clogged cat?

Nobody? From the research I've done indmar had a recall on the plumbing that goes to the manifolds so this might be my problem but the boat has 400hrs with the current setup so why would it just now start giving me problems? All I have done lately is changed the propeller to a 2315 from a 2313.

Wait till monday. We are all on the lake tubing right now.

That looks crazy. The engine has a 5 year warranty.

I have seen cats get red hot when clogged .... but this is on a car
