I have a 2011 Axis A22 - when i try to fill the centre ballast, the light on the dash light, then you can here the fuse blow. Drain works fine.
I took the pump apart under the drivers seat and its clean. Is there a separate fill pump for the centre tank?
I'm just learning the ballast system so not sure if its a separate fill and drain or what.

There is a separate pump for fill and drain. I had an issue this year where I filled, and couldn't drain kept kicking the breaker, had to replace the pump it went bad.

Where is the fill pump? I found 4 pumps in the access hatch by the drivers seat but they don't appear to go to the centre hard tank?

The fill pump goes to a anti siphon loop in sub compartment before it goes to the tank.

In mine the pnp bag fill pump has a back flow prevent valve. Yours might be different but to identify the tank fill pump in mine I would find the two pumps attached to the thru hull fittings on bottom of the boat. Then find the one that heads to the subwoofer and does NOT have back flow prevent check valve. That would be the tank fill pump.

I had the same issue from new.

Pulled the fill pump off to make sure that I did not pick something up jamming the impeller and found nothing.

I ended up taking it back to the dealer and they replace it under warranty.
