I should take delivery of my T22 later this week. I know it will need a sub and luckily I have a JL12w6v2 on hand. I got great intel on box dimensions from another T22 owner, then got JL to give me box specs and I built it over the weekend. Didn't realize that the heater hot tubes might interfere now that they've been relocated out of the dash to the walkthrough.

Has anyone done a sub in a 16 T22 with heater who could verify?

Good work on the box looks like you did a really clean job. Unfortunately I don't have the information that you're seeking but I did just want to throw in my two cents to but be sure you cover that box in some sort of protective material. Be it fiberglass resin or rhino lining to waterproof it you need to do something to cover up that MDF. That stuff is pretty prone to soaking up moisture and when it does it expands like a sponge. Best of luck and more low end makes all the difference in these boats.

oh yeah, not my first rodeo. If it fits, I'm gonna linex it. If it doesn't fit then it'll probably just get a coat of paint and stay in my truck while I build a new box.

The heater stymied me. Ended up installing a JBL W12GTi mk2 that I'd had in a sealed box in a prior boat.
