I run a pretty heavily weighted boat with the wedge down. Currently have the ACME 2247 looking to upgrade to the ACME 2315. Has anyone done this? Did it help. Currently running stock ballast with PNP 950 Bow sack 2 X 750s in rear lockers 1,000lbs in the floor and another300 up front with the wedge down with max 3 people. Wake is superb couldn't ask for better. Motor has plenty of power but have heard mixed opinions on if upgrading to the 2247 really makes a difference.

Any advice is appreciated.

The 2315 is a beast of a prop. It will push whatever weight you throw at it. However, top end on my old 2010 a22 was right at 30-32 mph

I ran factory ballast full, the front mushroom sac nearly full (full, but not quite bulging, and it was on top of the front seat), rear sumo 900s same way. Full but not busting the seams.

It was obviously slower to plane but the wake was HUGE... No wedge. I'm not a fan of the wedge while wake boarding, but surf wake it's a must.
