The 2015 A22 is running a Torque 15 x 12 - 2313 / 2419 prop with a gear ratio of 1.72:1 which as I understand is a different ratio than previous years. I find the stock 900lbs ballast and wedge with my wife and I and three smaller kids don't provide me at 200 lbs enough wake to surf effectively. When I add 2 more adults and 2 kids.. Night and day different wake. I am hoping that I can plane with two 900 sumos in the rear and a 750 in the bow. Any thoughts if that is a good ballast combination and if my prop setup will handle that ok?

Put a 650 in the bow, and 900's or 1100's in the rear. You won't need the extra friends to surf any longer. They will just make it that much better!

Here's a shot of our A22 from the wknd. Might be hard to tell from the gopro angle but the surf wave was big with really good push all the way to the back. There was a lot of room to play.

What was your set up jayman? I have 800s in the rear, bow bag, hard tanks full, wedge plus 2 400lbs bags on the floor and man does the wake ever a lot of push

Pretty much the same as your setup. 750s in the rear, bow bag, stock full, extra 400lb bag in bow, and 400lb bag on floor. Wedge down.
