So I just got the jumbo fat sacks 1100'2 and was wondering what prop I should order? I've been looking at the Acme 2079. I already own the 1235. Does anybody else have the 2079? Any suggestions would be great.

sorry stuart, I too have been wanting some feedback on this prop. I think there are a couple guys on here with a 2079 but not sure if they have been able to use their boats yet.
If you can, will you go load up your ballast and do a couple timed runs from say, 0-23, note the RPM's at 23 mph, and get us a top speed of your 1235. Then when, or if, you get the 2079, do the same exact thing?

It's going to be a few weeks till I get my boat in the water. I called ACME and they also recommended this prop as my best option. I think Im going to pull the trigger on it anyway but was hoping for some feedback on the 2079. If/ when I get it, I will let everybody know my thoughts on the 2079. I was reading that for over 3000 lbs this is my best option and I can still get speed over 30 mph if need be.

I just ordered a 2315 along with two sumo 900's in the back. My boat is currently tore down. I'm halfway through the dripless shaftseal install. I had a bitch getting the v-drive cooling hoses off! When I'm done, I'll take mine out fully loaded and see what time I get. You should be relatively similar with the 2079.

Will the 1235 even get the boat on plane with BOTH 1100's full plus all tanks and bow sac with crew?

What motor and what altitude? I'd say maybe but it may take a pretty good while.

I know my A22 with standard engine struggles big time trying to get all ballast tanks, bow sack, two 750's, and wedge with crew of 4 using the 1235. I rarely ride that much weight and was more of an experiment.

If you wait about another week, I will have my 2315 on and will give you some numbers and feedback.
