As Im sure you all know opening the door on the storage area allows the factory sub to sound much better/louder. Was gonna move the sub to the drivers footwell but I was thinking you could just port the side of the storage area in the walk way above the chillax seating and get the same effect. Anyone that has done this or has any ideas on how to do this please give me your input.

The problem I figured with that is that it is one of the dryest places on the boat so porting it might make it not so dry.

I thought about doing this. If you search around and look at the 'show' boats some of the installers use with multiple subs, you'll see some pics. They make the cover plates you can buy for the port. One of my main concerns is with storage. Under the footwell, you lose nothing

It does sound much better with the seat opened up but it still sounds dirty. I had a custom bass reflex box made and installed under the driver console and hits super clean and deep. Even with the stock sub the water ripples next to the boat at 60-70% volume.
