So, my swim platform pad fell off from my boat being in the water for 7 straight days on vacation. I was able to get the part replaced through warranty, but the shop did not include labor. (I've have my boat for 9 months) The service manager was also busy to talk with me about the best way to remove the old adhesive and install the new pad for more longevity than my last one.
I wrote an e-mail to Matt at Axis, who has been very helpful in the past, but have heard nothing back. I also have a seat skin that is tearing that will need replaced very shortly. Should my shop be covering the labor portion as well as the parts for this?
One last inquiry, about half the time I turn on my boat, my gauges do not turn on. Once I notice they aren't on, I turn the key off and back on and they seem to work fine. Has anyone else run into this?
Thanks in advance for any advice!

For a 2011 you'll have parts and labour for the first twelve months and parts for another 12 months after that. The start of warranty is from the purchase date or when the boat was put into service as a demo boat.
When you're turning it on are you actually starting the engine, or just putting the key into the on position. If it is the later, are you getting power elsewhere (i.e. stereo or do you hear the fuel pump)?

Thank you. I'm turning the boat completely on, motor running, and the gauges are blank.

No messages at all, completely blank like there is no power.
Thanks Chattwake, I kind of figured he was on vacation or something, I'll follow up with him again today.

Matt is now a rep for both Malibu and Axis. I'm not sure if you are in his territory. Keep at it. I'm sure someone at BU/Axis will get this squared away.
