Can I put 18 in. wheels on my stock trailer that came with my Axis? Do they modify the upgraded trailers to accomodate them? I was wanting to buy some new wheels and didn't want to be stuck with them if they would not fit.

The wheels on the tricked out trailer package should fit however you will need to contact boatmate & get 11 inch fenders if you are using the wider wheels that come with the tricked out trailer package.

I think when I was looking to buy a standard trailer & converting it over they were $200 a piece. Cant remember if that was painted or just stainless.

I had to replace one of my stainless fenders, got a dent from a broken boat ramp, fender was about 200 and I had to order the axis emblem for the side of it I think it was around 25 or so, easy to do yourself, 4 bolts and drill and screw the inner board back on, just jack up the trailer and remove the wheels and the fender swaps out easy

Thanks for the info.. That sounds like alot of money to just swap out wheels.. How big of a wheel do you think I can get under the stock fender?
