What wax is everyone using when they do their annual or semi-annual wax jobs? Do you have dealer do it? Do you do it your self? I have a few light scratches on gelcoat I want to get rid of and was wondering if it would take those out also?

Wax doesn't remove them but a good buffing compound does. I've removed a few board marks with the 3m compounds they sell at napa.

Thx Walter. Have you waxed yours yet? If so, what did you use?

I use Leverage or Bow to Stern (a little known product in the wakeboat community but the bassboat guys love it to keep their hulls blingy)

I haven't really got down with a full wax job yet, after I get home I always wash the boat with soap and water and spray it down with either hot sauce http://boatbling.net/store/ or sea spot go http://www.seaspotgo.com/ then I rinse it and dry it with wax as you dry http://eagleone.com/wax-as-u-dry after that I usually use the quickie sauce or some kind of spray nanowax http://eagleone.com/superior-nanowax-spray I only wash it with microfiber towels and dry it with a bunch of waffle towels http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp ... 74_____BBV

so far this method has kept it looking like the day I bought it!!

Sometimes if its spotted real bad i'll hose it down and spray it with sea spot go or hot sauce then soap it up with a microfiber and then rinse and dry with the spray wax, and I always do only one side at a time to prevent one side from drying and spotting again, this west texas heat evaporates water faster than you can spray it

I used HD UMo and Collinte pasta wax.
Great result and easy to apply with porter cable

I use Babes the wash and the spray wax after each use. The boat still looks great, just a couple minor scrathes. I didn't know if you still need to do a full on wax even if I am using the spray wax that often?

I do a full clean/wax (hull and everything) once a year. Other than that I use 2 microfiber towels and a diluted solution of hot sauce/distilled water (60% hotsauce/40% water). The stuff is great
