The lake that I spend most of my time is (unfortunately) infested with zebra mussels. The DNR has set up an area where boats are cleaned prior to leaving the ramp area, and they have advised me that if I use my ballasts they will need to flush them prior to my departure. Unfortunately, neither DNR nor I know exactly how to perform this flush, and we don't want to damage the ballast tanks or the pumps in the process. Does anyone here who is in a similar situation know which thru hull ports the flush hose should be connected to?

I used a fake a lake to test my ballast set up out of the water. It will be a pain to do every time though. Maybe put some type of T fitting on your fill lines that you can hook a hose up to.

^^ this would not touch the intake portion of the ballast system tho
there are 4 ports on the bottom of the boat that the water is pulled threw two on the rear close to front of engine area( one on each side) the two up front close to the drain plug ( again one on each side.)
