Looking for some input... I have a 2009 A22 and the racks only fit wakeboards. Has anyone added a third rack that would hold another 2 wakesurf boards? Best prices? Mounting locations on the tower? Pics? Holy demanding. I've see the Z5 racks, cool but not what I'm looking for.

Thanks for your help

My Axis rack can hold almost every surf board I have thrown at it in the top slot. There is an empty set of mounting holes on each side of the tower under the factory racks. I had no idea how expensive these racks are, Bakes has a double surf rack for almost $600ea. The sponsor of this site, Boardstop has much better prices but I dont see a double surf rack.

Some Axis boats came with fixed board racks or the combo racks that will hold one board and one surfboard. They will hold just about every compression molded surf board and thinner glass boards (but will put pressure dings on them). A lot of skim boards style boards will fit in the wakeboard rack. I know for fact my Shred Stixx will not fit even in the surf rack. The factory combo rack is 2 1/8" opening. My Shred Stixx are 2 1/4". Factory swivel combo racks will run $550 EACH from most dealers but I know where to get them for $429 each, fixed combo racks are $309 I believe.

Fixed combo racks from my dealer were 475 for a pair

My dealer gave me the option to change out forks only. The optional forks are machined locally and fit just about any surboard. Let me know if you want me to inquire on the cost for you. I have a 2012 A20.
