Where is the best spot to hard wire the pos & neg connection to hardwire the sirius radio & ditch the cig lighter plug? Im assuming the ignition switch but Im not sure which wire & also were to pick up a good ground.

Wire it into ignition wire and ground wire on your radio. I am assuming u are using your radio to listen to it? Ignition should be the red one coming out of the radio and the heavier gauge black wire should be ground.

That was basically my plan however there is a yellow wire, purple wire, blue wire, & orange wire running to the ignition switch. I want it to work while the key is turned back into accessory while we are chillin with the motor off as well as while its running.

I tied a Bluetooth to the red and black wires on the back of the radio and it works fine.

i guess you guys are talking about the wires coming directly out of the back of the head unit. Im talking about the wires coming directly off the back of the ignition switch (key).

I am talking about the ones coming directly out of the head unit. If ur radio turn on when u turn the key to acc then if u tie in to the red wire on the head unit your sat radio will come on also.
