I have a 2010 A22 with 450 hours on it. AR335 engine. I have been getting a check engine light intermittently at idle. Cycling the key a few times seems to fix the problem for a while but it continues to come back. I have no noticeable loss in performance while the warning is active. I have not been to excited about the service I have received by my dealer in the past and would like to avoid a trip over there. Any ideas before I haul it out and into the dealer?

This is actually very common in axis and malibu's. Mine alarms at start up (once and a while) I silence it and drive and it goes away. I have herd it's a temp warning till your thermostat pops or even oil pressure. Just make sure it turns off and you should be good. A constant alarm with performance issues, get her in to the shop.

How do you silence the alarm?
