I would consider myself a good beginner, with base inverts, base spins (3's), and comfortable switch but no tricks

any pros? or national competitors? or anything between

I learned 360s before 180s, and i learned 540s and 720s on a trampoline before learing 360s on water. but i don't have anything above 3's on water. 180s where hard for me for some reason

I hear you there...

I am a NOOB... just getting used to the Axis wake but this would be my first REAL year. I am comfortable riding both ways (mainly because of snowboarding) and W2W should be no problem for me. Can't spin yet or inverts but have some nice tweaked out tail grabs and stuff down.

Our whole crew is intermediate I would say, we are all very close in skill level and there are many inverts: tantrum and back rolls and front rolls and then all those with 180s. biggest spin is a 540. A few raley's here and there. Alot of tweaked method grabs to a switched 180. And ALOT of double ups with just fat 180's. Only two guys can ride switch like its normal and everyone else just sucks at it.

+1. Got my boat in July of last year, and learned over the following months. As I've got three young kids, I didn't ride as much as one might hope. Can do surface spins, but feel like a hippo on high heels riding switch. My last time out last year, I was able to clear the wake. First time out this year, I had forgotten everything I know, and reverted to skiing wiht the wakeboard. I'm completely new to any form or board sports, so this whole edging this is difficult for me to grasp. First time I was on a wakeboard, I was able to do some surface spins, but by accident as I was trying to turn!

Fortunately, I got hooked up with a few guys who are all a good bit better than me, so they are showing me a lot of the errors of my ways. Hope to learn what I'm doing this year.
