Out with the old and in with the NEW. I recently traded in our old"er" 2003 18ft Crownline for a brand new 2012 Axis A22. I will post some picture once we pick her up on Monday.
I do have a quick question, since I can't find any documentation...does the A22 have a way to report temperature and oil pressue. I don't rememeber seeing the specific gauges, but wanted to know if there was more than a warning light (if even that). After losing one engine in my past life, I have become accustomed to watching those pretty regularly.
Thank you to the forum...I have been reviewing this forum during my shopping/purchasing and you have helped my with my color and brand decisions. I also just purchased Hot Sauce in anticipation of taking care of all that BLACK.
Also does anybody have guidance on setting up a lift. I have a HydroHoist lift and I was going to pattern it as closely to the trailer as possible. Any wisdom here will be appriciated.

Yes there are gauges that let you monitor both those. Oil pressure, motor water temp, lake water temp, air temp, depth. Congrats.

Yes, It allows you to scroll throught them as and leave it on which ever you choose. I usually leave it on the depth just because I am so peronoid about hitting the prop or shaft on something. The system will definately alert you if something is not in check.

Actually I changed out my impeller two weeks ago and the first tim I put it back in the water the pressure side hose blew off and as soon as it started getting warm I had plenty of warning. The boat overall sems to have a good monitoring system for all potential hazards.

Thx

Agreed - the AXIS dash is well designed and simple. Even in a boat with dedicated gauges, the ECM is paying way closer attention than the driver ever would. I had an IO with full instruments before and all they ever did was kill your night vision (and burn out bulbs that were a pain to replace). Congrats on the new ride. I had considered a used Malibu and Mastercraft and the reliability of those "FANCY" dashes really scarred me.
