If the canvas isn't torn but the stitching is bad find a local upholsterer and have it re-sown. I bought the Velcro on line and had them redone
at the same time for about $100 then I recoated the fabric with water repellent and it is good as new.

Sorry for the delay, I used my old hand held Dirt Devil with the brush to vacuum the canvas after sweeping it with a broom and then applied West Marine all fabric Waterproofing with PTEF "Marine Formula" I just put it in a paint tray and used a smooth nap 9inch roller on a broom handle while it was snug on the boat and made sure that it was completely wet. Once it dried it has been like new. I have a video that I can send of it during out last rain. Yah, it was a little expensive but if I can put off buying a new cover for a few more years until I get a bigger boat that's all I care about. It also keeps the canvas from braking down any further in the sun in San Diego 300 plus days inland.

I was worried about getting that stuff on the boat. I did use it but probably need to do a better job cleaning the canvas first. I used a sprayer it did help. Ill go get someone to re stitch the cover. Thanks ! I appreciate the answer.

I just remember that I used a small 6inch roller to put the waterproofing on. It was easy to control and maybe took two hours to go around the whole cover. I didn't have any
leak through but to make sure I removed it the next day when it was dry and cleaned the upholstery.

I picked up a manual pump spray bottle. It has about a 3 foot extension with adjustable tip. I use it to spray 303 on cover while its on boat. I do it 1-2 year. No problems.

I use 303 annually. I used a gallon last year (A20 cover), but will probably buy 2 gallons and use a gallon and a half this year. I clean the cover well, then water proof. Our boat has to be outside all the time so I have to treat at least annually.
