I just bought a used A22. I was thinking about getting what Axis calls the "Deck Trac" All of these rubber non-slip pieces cost $630 for the kit. Can anyone that has this help me figure out if it is worth the $ or not. Any pictures would be a huge help too. Thanks!

If you google image "axis a22" you will get plenty of pictures of boats with it and without it. I ordered my 2011 without it. when it arrived it had the deck trac on it. At first I was a bit bummed because I did not like how it looked on my all white boat... but within days of using it I was SO GLAD that it had it on there. the top of the boat all around is so slick and easy for people to fall. Picking up people off the bow is difficult without the trac as the nose is sloped and is a slipping hazard. If I were you, I would buy it, but definately deal with the dealer to get it for cheaper. the other benefit is that there is a transom piece that comes with it that will help prevent wakeboards from damaging the gel coat on the transom when riders are putting on their boards.

I do like mine. The only problem I have is that some of the corners are starting to curl. Any ideas on what I can use to stick them back down with?

Like John says, its a necessity. My boat does not have it; myself, my wife and a friend slipped on the bow and ate it. I ordered it through my dealer thinking it would be a few hundred dollars and I was shocked to hear +500 plus installation, I had them send it back.

There are a few products out there that I have looked at that are substantially cheaper. My buddy has the seadeck product on his boat and its pretty nice.

DTB. I am curious as well. so far I have had no peeling issues with it, I have however, had my swim pad peel up almost completely. That is getting fixed as we speak at the dealer. I am sure the deck trac is covered as well?

Sounds like it is something good to have. Any ideas where to find it for less than $630?

Cool, Mine is in the shop now getting some minor stuff done so I will check to see if it's covered.

Thx

I hope youre not referring to seeing Seadek on the bow of the boat where the other non-skid is...that would be horrible.
