2017 A22 wake surf on goofy side

I am struggling with a nice clean surf wave on the goofy side. It has some wash that spills over. I have tried loading all my ballasts (which I have hard tanks and plugnplay filled) on bow, center, and back as well as not filling all the back. It seems to get worse when loaded 100% and with more people. And BTW, yes surfgate is on.

Ideas to sweeten the wave?

Do I need to weight down the front more?

50/50 rule with axis. How much weight are you running in the rear? How much have you experimented with weight distribution?

If it's washed on one side try shifting weight to the other side. So for goofy fill your rear left more full than the rear right. Or just have the people in the boat shift over to the other side. It seems to make a big difference on my A20.

Going to try shifting the weight to the opposite side. I will let you know how it turns out. Thanks!!!

BTW... on speed, I am 11.5. I have tried everything between 10-12.5.

Is your wedge down? This causes a terrible wake on that side. I am not sure of the exact physics but it’s due to the prop spin.

Creates a great wake on my A24 down

We actually stopped using the wedge altogether and didn't notice that much of a difference. We seem to get less bow rise without it. I was planning on trying it again once I get an extra bow bag but we haven't been out enough this season

I forgot to mention I do have 650 extra up front, but I always keep 2/3 weight towards the back and I have two 900s in the lockers that I run full with ave. 6 riders.

. I definitely stopped using the wedge on that side but it still helps on the other. Worse part about as you mentioned, not being able to get out much.
