Trying to figure out if I want to buy a used 2015 22mxz with 50hrs on it or just order a new a22 possibly 24. Used mxz is around 80k or so I just order a new axis. Pros and cons of both I have a 2010 a22 vandal that we absolutely love and still not 100% sure I want to order a new one yet

My opinion is 2018 A24. The wakeboard wake will be better than the 2015 22MXZ and the surf wave will blow away the 2015 22MXZ...BLOW it away. You'll have a new 5yr warranty and you can pick your colors for your ordered boat. My friend has a 2014 or 2015 22MXZ, nice boat no doubt but the wake and wave is nothing I would even compare to my A24. 2015 and prior year MXZ surf wave is known to be finicky to dial in to be optimal. I had a 2011 A22 so the storage going from 2011 A22 to the 2014 was going from hardly anything and leaving out things to having too much stuff in my boat now. The 2018 A24 will have even more storage and just room to roam in the cabin.

New A24. 5yr warranty & new hull is supposed to be awesome. The only con w new is paying sales tax. That '15 is fixing to be 3 yrs old. Just my .02.

I'm waiting for my dealer to get some more Info on the new a24 he says he hasn't heard much on it yet

Most states, at least the ones out here on the West Coast that have a sales tax (not MT or OR) have to pay tax when registering new or USED cars, trucks, boats, atvs, motorcycles, etc...

The states double, triple, quadruple dip as long as it keeps getting sold. It shouldn't be legal and I wish someone would introduce a bill to knock that shit off, but it's too much money that they will never allow such a bill to come through the state congress.

Maybe you live in a state that doesn't allow taxing used items, but you'll likely find that you're the exception and not the norm.

Yes. Every state is different. Here in AR we only pay sales tax on new boats. But on cars/trucks we pay evertime it's sold. The reason is.. AR doesn't title boats, just the trailer, I know it sounds stupid. I wish AR would start titling boats, that way we could pay tax only on the difference of a trade/sell.
