Has anyone successfully repaired a ballast bag? In my case, the fitting came unglued, rather than a seam, but I assume the same glue would work for both.

Are the threads still good in the bag? I have had a BFI fitting pop a few times over the decade I have been using bags. I just screwed it back in without any new cement. If you have a hose that is bending that fitting and straining it you might want to adjust the hose angle or put an elbow in it. you can call BFI and they will probably give you the exact type of cement they are using. If the hole with threads pulled out then that is a different issue and I would just replace the bag.
